“Humble Pie” will be screening in the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival this weekend and next – Friday, April 17th and Saturday, April 25th. More information and tickets available at the MSPIFF site!
“Humble Pie” will screen in competition at the 2015 Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival, April 9th through 25th. MSPIFF is one of the largest and longest-running film festivals in the country, attracting over 40,000 attendees each year.

“Humble Pie” will have its international premiere at the 18th Annual Holland Animation Film Festival, March 18th – 22nd. This international festival in Utrecht, The Netherlands features films from all over the world and includes categories for independent and student films as well as “applied animation” such as commercials and titles.

Cynthia and Dave were on hand as “Humble Pie” screened as part of the “Comedy Shorts” block of the Johns Hopkins Film Festival last night. The festival said of “Humble Pie”: “This film is impossible to dislike. It’s completely adorable.”
Boxelder Films’ first live-action effort will be a documentary directed by Dave Hogan, called “Two Cities”. Production will start in March or April of 2015 – read more here.

We’re pleased to announce that “Humble Pie” will screen in competition at the Atlanta Film Festival, March 20th -29th. ATLFF is now in in 4th decade and is one of only 24 Academy Award qualifying film festivals in the country.

“Humble Pie” has been selected as an official entry in the 2015 Johns Hopkins Film Festival in Baltimore, Md. The official schedule has not been released yet, but since this festival runs concurrent with the DC Independent Film Festival in late Februray, Dave and Cynthia will be attending both!

Boxelder Film’s second animated short, “Humble Pie” will have it’s world premiere at the DC Independent Film Festival which runs from February 25th to March 1st in Washington DC. DCIFF was launched in 1999 and is the oldest independent film festival in our nation’s capital. More films were submitted to DCIFF this year than ever before, and “Humble Pie” was one of only 14 animated films selected.
